The apartment was roomy and pleasant, with a big dressing room, bathroom, and a comfortable bedroom with two double beds. The kitchen had a microwave and a fridge with a freezer. We enjoyed the homemade desserts at Cukrkandl downstairs, where you can also have breakfast. The location is the one drawback for me. The guesthouse is among a group of buildings in central Teplice, Šanov, around a small park with gardens and a restaurant. It gets busy in the evenings. If you're afraid of Arabs, this street may not be for you. Women in burqas were queuing with their children as late as 11 p.m. Still, it's nice to walk down from the guesthouse for a coffee.

The guesthouse sits in the spa area, right beside the Steinbad (stone bath). Across the street there's a park linked to the spa gardens, and several terrace cafes line the one-way street beneath tall trees. Parking is generally easy, though it can be harder on warm summer evenings when the cafes are busy. The apartments are separate units, each with a large hallway, WC, bathroom, storage room, and spacious kitchen-diner. The bedroom is large and faces the courtyard.
