Třeboň is especially pleasant out of season, with quiet walks around the ponds and hardly anyone about. This is a very good place to stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and I'd recommend the restaurant too, though the fish seemed a little greasy. I heard the massages are very good as well.

We had stayed here before and considered booking the new apartment, but the strict rules around accommodation and spa access put us off completely. My school-age child apparently couldn't even step inside the apartment, not even just to have breakfast, and couldn't use the private spa because she was a few months below their minimum age and wouldn't be staying there under their rules. The same applied to an adult family member: no spa access unless he slept there. This was despite my paying the full apartment rate for two people. The price is very high, more than a five-star Prague hotel room, and the rules left us feeling unwelcome. Many hotels and B&Bs in CZ have become much more customer-focused, but some still have a bad attitude, now mixed with the anti-kid sentiment that's been fashionable for the past few years. I'll gladly spend my money somewhere else.

The receptionist was attentive and so nice about every request. I had a great stay, with delicious restaurant food and a much-needed full-body massage. I'll be back next fall!

The owner clearly puts care into the personal touches, and the pension and restaurant are great throughout. We had a lovely quiet room with AC, the food was impeccable, and there's bike storage. The location is ideal. Trebon is a pleasant town to spend time in, and it doesn't feel as packed with tourists as Cesky Krumlov. Definitely stay here and eat at the restaurant too.
