We used the shared kitchen, and it was always clean. Tea and coffee were free, though I’d suggest putting out a more normal amount of each. The guesthouse is close to both the city center and the swimming spot at rybník Svět. Just keep in mind that the rooms by the street can get very noisy. Closing the windows is enough to block it, but that’s not really an option in summer.

The staff were really friendly and keen to help, and breakfast was excellent. The rooms are big and cozy, and the place is close to the center. Parking across the street was easy too.

Everything was clean, and we found all the essentials, though the guesthouse has clearly seen better days. It’s definitely not a designer place. The main drawback for us was the kitchenette in the hall, where all the room doors open. There’s no hallway inside the room, so you hear people talking right outside the door, as well as their breakfast chatter and dishes clinking in the morning when other guests may still want to sleep.

There’s plenty of space and the stay was quite pleasant. The rooms and facilities are older but still work fine. A shared kitchen is available, and the room has a private bathroom with a bathtub.

We stayed for five nights with our bikes, and I could imagine coming back someday. It’s close to the center, but right by the road, so some people may mind the traffic noise. It wasn’t too bad for us, and the place was clean with a pleasant owner.
