Parking can be tough, and it gets busy with hikers and people visiting for the day. Still, it has a relaxed feel, friendly staff, and tasty beer. They’re known for homemade quiche in lots of flavors.

A lovely garden to take a break in while cycling, with plenty of fresh koláč to choose from. It was really tasty, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

The pies, beer, and atmosphere are all so good, and it’s incredibly cozy. I’d move in!

This works as a simple place to stop for a beer, but I wouldn’t think of it as a restaurant. It’s odd for a bicycle rest stop to serve beer, since the two don’t seem to go together. There’s a lot they could improve. There’s no real service: one guy walks around collecting used plates and glasses, but there are no waiters. Ordering a sweet or savory pie took half an hour. The pies might be good when freshly made, but they aren’t kept warm, so by then they’re cold and not tasty. The queue is badly managed even though three staff members are behind the counter. The man collecting dishes cuts across the line every couple of minutes because they haven’t figured out how to move dirty dishes properly. That’s just the most obvious problem. It’s a shame, because this could be a proper place for more than people who are happy with the bare minimum.
