The apartment is really spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was clean, with fresh linens, a pleasant bathroom, and night lights beside the beds. We also appreciated the kitchenette, kettle, fridge, and all the outlets in the rooms. The price was reasonable, with free parking, and the service was good. A heads-up: Google Maps takes you to the police station. The apartment entrance is on the left side of that building. It’s in an excellent location, though the room lighting is a bit dim and the parking area has no lights at night. There’s no breakfast or elevator, and you have to climb one flight of stairs. We visited in September, so the lack of AC wasn’t a problem.

The host was very kind and the place itself is lovely. Getting around is the hard part: public transport is very limited, and the nearest ATM, grocery store, and pharmacy are all 12 km away. It’s better to come by car. No English is spoken.

The hostess was amazing, and the apartment is beautiful. It’s in a quiet part of Zvíkovského podhradí, and I’d happily recommend it.
