The single rooms feel cramped, especially the kitchenette, which has very little space despite having a fridge. WiFi reception in the rooms was very poor, and the staff seemed indifferent when I complained. Reception is in the Best Western, 200 metres away, not in this building. The ceiling fan seemed purely decorative and sat too low, though the table fan was a lifesaver in summer. Housekeeping took away our kitchen towel on several days without leaving a replacement. There was an iron and ironing board, plus enough cooking utensils, but the frying pans were poor quality.

The rooms were large, but the service was terrible. Check-in is at the Best Western down the block. On the morning of my cousin's wedding, construction work left us without water, and it was off for most of the day. We needed to shower, use the bathroom, and change outfits for the reception, so I asked to move to a room where we’d have water. The receptionist said we couldn’t be moved to the Best Western because of the price difference. That was frustrating, since running water is a basic expectation in a hotel. Then the manager said the Best Western was fully booked, changing the explanation. By then I was upset and worried about being late. The manager said there was nothing she could do, so I had to ask about sister hotels. She reluctantly called one, and fortunately they had a room. It was much smaller than the one we’d paid for, but at least it had water. Nobody apologized or offered compensation, and the attitude was awful and unhelpful.
