Really nice.

The rooms were great and the prices good, but cleanliness was a problem during my one-night stay. I spotted a cockroach in the kitchen, and both the kitchen and bathroom could have been cleaner. I had trouble getting the entry code, so I called the hotline. They emailed it to me within ten minutes, and the staff were very quick to help on the phone. I hope they sort out the remaining cleanliness issues.

We weren't completely satisfied, and I hope the issues get resolved. I do want to praise how things were handled in the end, though: they apologized and refunded what we paid for the room we didn't use, even though it was Christmas. Thank you.

The room was spacious and had attractive decor, which made a good first impression. After that, the problems started. Two towels in the bathroom were heavily soiled and clearly hadn't been washed properly. There was no hairdryer, just its attachment in a bottom drawer, and the doormat by the entrance smelled strongly and unpleasantly. The online check-in, including credit card verification, was quite cumbersome too. There's a lot that needs improving. For a mid-range hotel with high expectations, this is unacceptable. I'd recommend the B&B across the street instead.
