What really made this place stand out was the staff. Everyone was friendly and keen to make the service personal. Larissa greeted us each day and took the time to learn our first names. It's a family run hotel, and they really do aim for top notch service. The rooms were fine, the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was fantastic, and the location is central with good restaurants and shops nearby.

Right in the city center, Gieschens Hotel is handy for getting to tourist spots, shopping areas, and public transport. The welcome and service were outstanding from the moment I arrived, with attentive, professional, and very friendly staff. I'd happily recommend it for a comfortable, memorable stay.

The owner was there and turned out to be a lovely person. Rooms are large, the staff and service are great, and the location is central.
