A quiet place with clean, nice rooms and really friendly, helpful staff. We stopped for one night on the way back to Sweden, then took the ferry to Kiel the next day, so it worked perfectly for our trip. The restaurant was a nice bonus, with good quality local food. I'd definitely recommend a one night stop on a road trip.

We've stayed here four times and have already booked again. It's very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location just off the motorway works well. We did have some communication trouble: I tried to book the restaurant ahead of time and was told it wasn't open, but it was when we arrived. We were also told breakfast began at 8, though two tables were full at 7:45 when I went to load the car. We could have been on the road earlier and avoided rushing to catch the ferry. Still, we'll stay again.

We ate really well here, and the staff were polite, attentive, and very nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. I recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

A nice, cozy hotel, though there isn't a refrigerator in the room and there's no elevator either.
