I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this was more than I could put up with. The welcome was really unfriendly, and when I went to eat at the restaurant, paying by card wasn't possible, cash only. I can only guess that might be to avoid declaring everything. Definitely don't bring children. Mine unfortunately dropped necklace beads on the balcony, and the owner insulted my wife. This place should be boycotted.

We had four enjoyable days here. It's a simple but great hotel, friendly staff and good value, and it made a perfect base for our motorcycle tours. The restaurant served tasty, good traditional food. Thank you!

The sausage salad was enormous and beautifully presented, and the other two dishes looked appetizing too. Salad was included in the price, and the food arrived promptly and tasted very good. I ordered pike-perch fillet specifically because so many dishes had mushrooms. It came with bacon, which isn't a good idea when a vegetarian orders fish, though it didn't bother me, and there were mushrooms in the sauce. Fortunately they were in large pieces, so I could pick them out, but mushrooms weren't really suitable with the fish. The staff or owner were very friendly.

We’ve eaten here a few times and enjoyed the delicious food and friendly service each time. If we’re in Achkarren again, we’ll definitely come back.
