That’s our take on it: the setting and surrounding area are magnificent, and the private park is sensational. Our apartment was spotless and had everything we could need. The park next door was a highlight on its own, and we made good use of it whenever we liked. Adorf has a lovely Hessenpark feel, with genuinely friendly people around town. We spent a week in apartment 2. It was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, and four of us were comfortable there. The Bornemann couple were kind and always ready to help. We’d gladly return, and can highly recommend this lovely country house. Thanks for a wonderful week.

The garden was a real treat for our two little dogs, with loungers, a barbecue spot, and plenty of places to unwind. Breakfast in the main building was generous and tasty, and the owners were there without hovering. We only found the breakfast room lighting a little too dim, though that’s just personal taste. Apartment 6 was roomy and on the top floor, with a small kitchenette, bed, TV and seating area, sofa bed, and dining table. Adorf is clean and well kept, with Netto and Edeka supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a savings bank. Service matters throughout the Sauerland, even at the pharmacy in Adorf. Keep it up! The area is lovely, and the bus connections are good. My son and I stayed in apartment 5 for 14 days, from 03.07.25 to 17.07.2025. We were very happy there, had everything we needed, and felt right at home. Friendly contact and no problems at all. We’d be glad to come back 😌
