We were only there for one night, but it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is cozy, with a pool and a kids' play area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom could have been cleaner, though. There was a pretty unpleasant smell until we ran hot water down the shower drain, which cleared it. The staff could pour hot water down the drains regularly to prevent that smell.

After hiking in the mountains, we went to Hotel Rupertihof for dinner, even though we were staying overnight at the nearby Hotel Schaider. Around Ainring, other restaurants had already closed their kitchens at about 9 p.m. The welcoming staff checked with the kitchen and made sure we could still have a late supper. The meal was tasty, with generous bruschettas to start, then excellent goulash soup and carpaccio. We had good German beer with it. The restaurant is much larger than I expected, with a dance floor and a stage for entertainment, and the restrooms were clean. We'll keep it in mind for another visit.

The scenery was beautiful, and the rooms were cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very nice, with delicious baked goods, cheesecake, and a tasty omelette.

The bedroom heating gave us some trouble, and the staff speak only a little English, though they obviously speak German. Apart from that, it's a really nice place, not too far from Salzburg centre. Everything was clean and in order. The food was good and priced somewhere between expensive and cheap, while the buffet breakfast had plenty to choose from. The quality for the price felt right.

The food was fantastic, and the bath and sauna were great. It's close to Salzburg, too. The staff were really friendly and spoke English very well. We'll definitely come back.
