Alb-Appartement Silberdistel

The nearby big supermarket was handy, and the place itself was beautiful and inspiring. I only stayed one night, though, and came away with mixed feelings. The room naming system was odd, and there were no English versions of the signs inside. With no air conditioning, the heat was uncomfortable, especially on the top floor where the roof made it hotter.

I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Melanie & Christine were kind and went out of their way to help, even after I booked just a few hours before arriving. Melanie made sure everything was set for our very late arrival. The flat was brand new, well equipped, and comfortable, with a good shower and bed. I could cook easily with all the accessories provided. The beautiful new building also has a closed car garage, washing machines, and a dog shower. It's pet-friendly, and the staff were super helpful throughout.

A really nice place.

The bathroom was poorly kept, with silicone sealant missing in several spots, and cleanliness elsewhere was appalling: dust all over, very dirty closets, dishes that were already dirty when we arrived, and a long-uncleaned space under the bed. Staff were unfriendly and seemed disinterested, with little professionalism or attention to service. We booked a Junior Suite, but the room's condition was shocking. Its balcony looked onto a slope, with no sun, view, or added value, which felt misleading for that category. The rooms were so noisy that even ordinary conversation brought complaints from neighbors, leaving almost no privacy or chance to relax. For the price and advertised category, it didn't meet an acceptable hotel standard. We felt cheated and wouldn't recommend or book this hotel again.
