It was okay.

We loved the Arras holiday apartment. It’s lovely and very well equipped, and there’s a small selection of wine in the apartment with more to try in the cellar. There’s even a bike you can use to go pick up bread rolls. We’d be happy to come back. Petra and Bert H.

The heating was off during our September stay, and at 16 degrees it was definitely too cold. When we asked about turning it on, the substitute said they didn’t know how the system worked. The owners were away, so we decided to cut our holiday short, especially with the rain and the cold apartment. The Mosel apartment is small but works for two. Its kitchenette has two hotplates and is fine for simple meals, though there wasn’t enough room to cook vegetables, meat, and potatoes all at once. The bedroom had blackout blinds, but the living and dining area only had thin floral curtains. Pretty, but they didn’t darken the room or give much privacy.

We felt right at home in the well-kept Sternenwald apartment, which had everything we needed for a great holiday. Being allowed to bring our own motorcycle made the stay perfect. The owner also spent two days as our tour guide, which was wonderful. Thanks again for such a lovely time. It’ll stay a happy memory for us.
