The food was okay, and everyone else working there was friendly, but our interaction with the chef named "Steve" really spoiled dinner. We’d booked ahead and politely asked to move our table by the window. He just said "NO" in a very rude way, as if he were talking to a child. The window table stayed empty until we left. A good meal can’t make up for being treated badly as a customer.

We liked our stay so much that we added another night. The countryside setting is peaceful, yet towns and places of interest are close enough. Service was friendly and helpful, the food was fresh, and the pool was lovely, with places to relax both indoors and outside.

We felt like family as soon as we walked in, thanks to staff who went out of their way to make our stay great. The hotel has themed rooms, an indoor play area for kids, and a pool for everyone. It’s one of the most unique and amazing hotels in Germany. There’s also an attached restaurant serving authentic food and drinks, and breakfast is delicious and included. Parking is free. I’d recommend it to absolutely everyone.

It’s a lovely countryside spot on the edge of a nature reserve, with walking right there. We felt welcome and well cared for even though we don’t speak German. The room was very comfortable, and I’ve never stayed at a hotel that provided dog bowls before, a thoughtful touch. The restaurant had an excellent local supper menu, and breakfast was just as good. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the countryside.

A quiet place that’s especially good for hiking and cycling. There’s useful bike storage with charging for e-bikes, plus helpful staff and a good breakfast. It’s a quirky hotel with lots of individual decorating effort, themed playrooms for kids, and a pool and spa area.
