The garden, sauna, and inflatable hot tub made this a great place for a holiday. We were 11 friends, and the house was spotless with comfortable beds. The host was kind and helpful, and suggested some nice places nearby. The living room is on the small side for a house this size, so a group of 12 or more might find it hard to fit everyone there. We had a small Wi-Fi issue, but the host got it sorted within a day.

We’ve stayed here twice now with a big group of friends and would happily recommend it. The sauna and whirlpool were fantastic, and the grounds are kept up with lots of attention to detail. There’s a village bakery within walking distance for breakfast pastries and fresh bread. The beds were comfortable, and the large, newer kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a group. We’d love to return.

The spa area was spotless and in great shape, just like the rest of the house. Markus was lovely to communicate with, and we had everything we needed. A few friends and I spent the weekend here for my birthday and felt right at home. We’ve even talked about making this an occasional weekend tradition ;) I’d definitely recommend the house.

The village and nearby Rothsee lake are well worth a visit. We also had a great stay at the Sonnengarten holiday home, where 12 of us celebrated a big family birthday over the weekend. The Henseler family were warm and accommodating hosts, and the clean house had enough room for all of us. We didn’t need anything else.

Markus was easy to reach and really accommodating, even when we had a few last-minute cancellations. We found a solution that worked for everyone. The house was modern and had most of what we needed, from a coffee machine and wine glasses to a hairdryer. We also relaxed in the garden sauna and hot tub. Markus had put fresh water in the tub for us, and it fits about 5-6 people. Just be aware there’s an extra charge for using the sauna and pool. We’d be glad to come back :)
