The garden was lovely for sitting and taking your time. Inside, the rooms are clean and thoughtfully furnished, with an old-time charm that still feels alive. Breakfast had plenty of variety and care put into it. You'll need the car to reach the waterfront, but it's worth the drive.

The hosts were really friendly, and renting a bike was easy. It's a good little B&B if you keep your expectations modest. The station is 2 km away, and places like Poel, Rerik, and Wismar are reachable by public transport or bike.

There's nowhere to eat in the village, so plan on going out for meals. E-bike batteries can't be charged in the house, unfortunately. Still, it's a peaceful spot, with the Baltic Sea about a 10-minute ride by bike. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious, and breakfast is generous.

Rerik is lovely, around 20 km away, and the promenade makes for a pleasant walk. The beach across from it was clean, and the promenade restaurants served delicious food. The owners were very nice and gave us ideas for outings, and breakfast was perfectly fine and enough. The price was good too. Our room, number 11, had an absolutely awful, worn-out bed. Cleanliness needed work, especially in the corners. The garden was neglected and extremely dry, though some of that was probably due to the weather. It's a shame they don't serve lunch or dinner.

The rooms were okay, but we couldn't turn on the heating in the evening. Breakfast was limited, and getting there early meant more choice. They didn't bring out more when we asked. Payment in cash at the start of the holiday caught us by surprise. The hosts were friendly, but that wasn't enough to make up for it. The value for money was so-so, and there's no dinner or bar service.
