Harzhaus am Brunnen, Wohnung 3

The tourist tax top-up invoice itself was correct, and we knew it was coming. What bothered me was the letter and follow-up emails saying there had been several payment requests and that I’d neglected to pay. That’s completely untrue, and it left me feeling negative. I’d previously written a very positive review, mentioning only the annoying upstairs neighbors, but I can’t find it anywhere. That’s why this review has fewer stars than the one I originally gave.

There’s room for at least five people in this spacious, clean apartment, and it has a balcony. It’s in a lovely spot, with parking on the property and the herb garden within easy walking distance. Dogs are welcome too.

There’s been a new owner for about a year, and since then the place has become more expensive. We also found the rooms noticeably colder.

The surrounding area is beautiful, and the landlady is super friendly. We slept wonderfully in the first-class beds. The apartment was very nice and clean, with everything we needed.
