The staff were friendly and kept a low profile, and we’d gladly stay here again. Our rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The TV is rather small, so it may disappoint anyone who likes watching a lot, though we didn’t mind. The dining room felt cozy; we only had breakfast at the restaurant. Since our group was bigger, dinner was in one of the two separate rooms, which worked perfectly. They even let us stay after closing. The food was excellent.

We stopped for dinner at this small, cozy Erzgebirge-style restaurant near the bobsled track. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. Our meals for two came out very quickly, and the service was friendly. Payment by debit card or cash was possible.

The roulade with bacon dumplings and Brussels sprouts was a real treat. Everything was cooked fresh and just right. We’ll be back soon, and hope it stays this good.

We all felt at ease here with our motorcycle group. It’s an owner-run hotel with excellent home-cooked food, a cozy restaurant, and a very quiet setting. The beds were genuinely comfortable, so we all slept well. In the evening the owner made sure we had what we needed, and let us celebrate and stay as long as we liked without disturbing anyone. That’s unusual these days. Kudos to the whole team for their friendly, capable service and a wonderful evening.
