We were unlucky with the weather, so we couldn’t enjoy the nice balcony, though it didn’t stop us from going on a few Harz hikes. The upstairs apartment was a delight for the two of us, with attractive rooms, tasteful furnishings, and surprisingly good amenities for a rental of this size, especially the kitchen. If you’re after peace and nature, this is a great place to stay. :-)
