We could walk to all the main attractions, and the hotel is right by the inner city pedestrian area. Our modern room had garage parking and elevator access, and the staff were attentive and made things comfortable for us and our two little children. A hidden gem, recently renovated or rebuilt, and a great place to stay.

Breakfast was delicious and served with care. The rooms, breakfast room, and other areas were all clean and modern, and the room we had was in the main building. It feels like the hotel is run with real passion. Prices are relatively low, too.

The lounge and breakfast room were a real plus, with a great choice of drinks and a nice spot to unwind in the evening. Breakfast was excellent too. We stayed one night with our family at Hotel Treppengasse in Altenburg and were delighted from beginning to end. The hotel is stylishly furnished, modern, and very comfortable, and our room had everything we needed. The staff were warm and attentive, so we felt welcome right away. It's also well placed for exploring the city. Highly recommended, and great value for money. Thanks to the whole hotel team!

The buffet breakfast was tasty and just right, and there was parking nearby. Our room was very clean and modern, with a TV, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Staff were friendly and courteous. You can get into the building at any time outside service hours using a door code or keycard. I'd definitely return.

The location made it easy to explore all of Altenburg's sights on foot, and there was plenty of parking. Our apartment was superbly equipped, and the whole family-run guesthouse felt modern and tastefully furnished. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent and prepared with care. Highly recommend it. We'd give it 6 stars if we could!
