Heidrun's Home

The peaceful setting and lovely views made the stay even better, and our room was very clean. Heidrun welcomed us so warmly that we felt comfortable and at home right away. Thank you, Heidrun.

I expected little more than somewhere to sleep after booking through Booking.com, but there were lots of pleasant surprises. The large living room, dining hall, and kitchen made it feel like home. The kitchen had a dishwasher, microwave, oven, basic spices, and everything needed to make coffee or tea. The host was kind and friendly, and the view of the rocky mountains and river near the Lahn Valley was beautiful.

The house sits in a lovely setting, in an old German village near a charming little town with a river and castle. The view from the house is astonishing. Heidrun is lovely and makes sure you have a pleasant stay while giving you plenty of privacy. Heidrun's Home is a modern shared holiday house. You get your own bedroom and share the living room, kitchen, and bathrooms with guests in the other three rooms. That means you can enjoy the beautiful house for the price of one bedroom. It’s fully equipped, with more than even the best hotels. There’s always coffee and tea in the kitchen, plus fresh spring water from behind the house. I’d recommend it whether you need a bed for one night or want a quiet vacation. For a treat, get ice cream at the "Eismanufaktur" in Diez and have a look around the old town of Limburg.

We really liked having shared spaces and a kitchen with good facilities. The inn was kept clean and tidy by the nice woman who runs it, the fourth generation of her family to do so.
