The staff were attentive throughout and happy to help with even small requests. Breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices, and the location made it easy to get to restaurants, shops, and the main sights. My room was roomy, spotless, and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. It was quiet too, which made it easy to relax after a long day. Check-in was quick, and I was greeted warmly when I arrived. The stay exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely return.

We had dinner at the restaurant and loved the generous, delicious food. Our waiter was charismatic, too. The hotel itself was charming, with very friendly staff, and our room was comfortable with a renovated bathroom. Breakfast was very good, and we felt it was great value for money. We’d happily recommend it and stay again :)

The bathroom was beautiful, and the shower had great water pressure. The frosted glass barn door between the bathroom and bedroom looks lovely, though it lets in a lot of morning light, so you’ll wake with the sun. The room was nicely appointed, but as in most of Germany there’s no air conditioning, and opening the windows didn’t bring in a breeze. The staff were friendly. The town is quaint, with a few places to eat, plus an ice cream shop down the road. I didn’t try the hotel restaurant. It’s a lovely hotel overall, and I’d stay again.

A beautiful historic hotel and restaurant, with parts dating back to the 16th century. The Franconian food was delicious. I’d highly recommend staying here and having a meal.
