The quiet around the place really stood out, and the air was amazing. I loved the views from the windows, and having a kitchen of my own was very useful. The water was good too. Every now and then you can spot planes overhead. It’s a great place to stay if you can get across the bridge over the Rhein.

It's a spacious, comfortable apartment with air conditioning, good beds, and a public terrace. The area feels quite isolated, though, and having some breakfast would help. You can walk or bike over a bridge that's still being renovated to Speyer, but it's at least a 20-minute trip. Getting around by car is the bigger problem: road and bridge closures make arrivals and departures complicated, and you might drive ten minutes one way before finding the rest of the road shut. There isn't much signage for detours.
