Hotel Blautannen

I've known the restaurant for 20 years, so I'm only speaking about that. The food is traditional and good, though I often find it too salty. The salad has a tangy taste, which suits people who like that. I wish the menu had more creativity. As someone who works in restaurants, I don't find the setting especially appealing. The old building means the atmosphere isn't anything special, and a major renovation probably wouldn't make much sense. The family still makes an effort with the decorations and puts money into the place here and there. They're always friendly, as are the staff. There are lots of rooms, some separated with partitions, that can be used for different events, which is a real plus. For a beer on the terrace with a schnitzel or sausage salad, it's a straightforward, honest restaurant.

We go there for breakfast regularly and are always pleased with it. The service is excellent, and the price matches what you get really well. We'd definitely recommend it.

We both left very satisfied and completely full after breakfast for two today. I'd been there before, but it was my husband's first time. Everything was top-notch.

We stopped at the restaurant to pick up food, then decided to stay and eat. The dishes were fresh, homemade, and delicious, served quickly by a very friendly team. Even the amuse-bouche was tasty and beautifully presented. They brought a highchair and toys for our little one, something I hadn't experienced before! Thanks for such warm hospitality! It's a shame the restaurant is quite far away, but we'll come back if we're in the area again. 🥰
