Dinner here was one of my best experiences so far. The food was delicious, and the staff were lovely. It's not somewhere to go for a cheap, large portion, but it's a great choice for an evening with lots of new experiences.

There are no curtains, so people walking along the street can see you showering.

The food was great, and the place felt cosy.

We skipped breakfast because €26.50 seemed overpriced. In the morning, there was no hot water in either the shower or the sink. Reception thanked us for mentioning it, though they already knew about the problem from other guests. Check-in itself went fine, but our room had two single beds instead of a double. Reception said that was because we booked very late. The bed frames felt more like they belonged in a decent youth hostel, the mattresses were very soft, and the pillows were far too big.

We’ll definitely come back. The menu was varied and a great fit for asparagus season, and the dishes looked like little works of art. The service was so friendly and attentive. It’s a wonderful restaurant, and the prices are worth it, so don’t let them put you off.
