Joseph Stein was friendly and ready to help whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was great, too. The hotel has been fully renovated, so it feels modern while still being cozy and welcoming. Five stars are well deserved. We’ll be back!

We stayed at Hotel Stein for a wedding and would happily return. The recent renovation has been done with care, with thoughtful details and a cozy feel. Josef was wonderful, attentive throughout, and kept things running smoothly even when it got busy. Breakfast was generous and covered different dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan options. I’d definitely recommend it.

For a family holiday in the Chiemgau and Chiemsee region, I don’t know another children’s hotel that looks after families as well as the Stein family, especially Joseph, and their team at Familotel "Zum Steinbauer". I’m usually cautious about star ratings, but I’m glad to give them all five.

A great venue for a concert featuring the wonderful musicians Lisa Wahlandt, Mulo Francel, DiDi Dietmar Lowka, David Gazarov and Robert Kainar.
