The hotel sits in a small village surrounded by beautiful nature, and the view, food, service, and staff's behavior were all amazing. I was there on a business trip, but I'd gladly experience it again. The only drawback was finding the place as a stranger, since there were no signs to guide me.

The food really impressed us: the daily special was homemade and seasoned just right, and the carbonara was fantastic too. It's a charming family-run hotel near the castle. Our room felt thoughtfully put together, with lovely furnishings and clear care given to both the look and function of everything. Service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive, whether at reception or during meals. They seemed to anticipate questions before we asked. We know where we'll stay if we're in the area again.

The Dombäcker is in a great spot, though be ready for its 365-meter elevation ;-). My son and I cycled there, spent the night, and ate at the restaurant, and we were delighted. Our room was fantastic and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the food was fresh and delicious. We'd definitely come back :-)!
