We stayed one night and everything was easy from the start: the place was easy to find, parking was available, and we got a particularly warm welcome. The room was very clean. Breakfast had plenty of options, including rolls, cold cuts, and jams. The lovely woman welcomed us again and checked us out warmly. This definitely won't be our last visit! 😌

We had everything we needed in the small holiday apartment we rented for New Year's Eve, and the price was excellent. It was newly and modernly furnished, with a little kitchen and bathroom, in what seemed to us like an old inn right on the Werra River. Hainich National Park is only a few minutes away by car.

We were cycling and stayed for one night. The place is old-fashioned and quiet, and looks better inside than out. They make a real effort to look after guests. Our room was basic, with separate beds, but clean and functional. Dinner was made fresh when we asked, breakfast was well stocked, and the value for money was excellent. It's not first-class accommodation, but fine for a night.

The location really surprised us as a party venue. Don't be put off by how it looks from outside: it's wonderfully quiet, away from roads and right on the Werra River, with a nice swing set that makes it good for children. Inside, the rustic rooms are charming, with a bar and stage that work well for a social evening. The buffet won us over, especially the freshly grilled salmon, and the cakes were fantastic, each one better than the last. The staff were extremely friendly and made the whole experience. Highly recommended for parties and celebrations! 🎉 Overnight accommodation is available too.
