The annex made us feel at ease every day we spent in the Bavarian Forest with the Müller family. Sepp (Josef Müller) and Adele are gracious hosts, and the house, the peaceful village, and the setting make for a lovely holiday. Even the region's affinity for Bavarian political mainstream and its unpleasantly virile yet arbitrary clamor receded into the background. We could hike for hours and hardly meet anyone, which was a rare pleasure. Mornings began with breakfast on the terrace, greeting a "Heidi and Peter-like" day, and later we counted stars in the mild, dark night. Those moments brought a feeling of happiness, humility, and reflection, and got us thinking about philosophy. We were there in 2021. After so many happy memories, we're grateful we happened upon this place and these people.

In July/August 2025 we stayed in a ground-floor apartment. It was clean and very nice, and we felt comfortable there. The landlords are friendly and do everything they can to make the stay wonderful.

Our first visits were in 2015 and 2018, and at the beginning of July we came back for 10 days in the ground-floor apartment. The third stay was fantastic too. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the terrace by the entrance, and the apartment itself was excellent. The children spent time in the recreation area, especially at the ping-pong table. The town center is close enough to walk to, which is convenient. The owners were wonderful as ever, with great service and communication. We'd love to return.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotless, and the landlords are so kind and make sure you have what you need. It feels like home here. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be back for sure.

A toy shop with what seems like endless choices and an indoor pool are both 500 meters away. The location is handy for excursions, and there's a big playground for children. The apartment is lovely and the landlords are super nice. Thanks, see you soon! 😀
