The restaurant food was bland and overcooked, and service was absent and not especially warm. Breakfast was okay. We stayed for two nights, and the acoustics in room 31 were horrible. We could hear the neighbors talking even though they weren't loud.

We went for a guided tour to see the wildlife, including living bisons, cattle and deer. It has the largest number of living bisons in one place anywhere in Germany. The attached restaurant and steakhouse also serves bison steak and other dishes made with bison meat.
