We spent four lovely days at Kriegerhof. Our son got clear explanations about helping out in the barn in the evenings, and our questions were always answered kindly. We also loved all the cats around the farm. The apartment had everything we needed, and the balcony view was beautiful. There are lots of nice places to visit nearby too. We'll definitely return!
The location and view are spectacular, and there's plenty to explore in the area. The holiday apartment at Kriegerhof is nicely furnished and well equipped. But the farm itself is very old, dirty, and strewn with trash, and the barns are just as bad. Some of the advertised animals weren't there, couldn't be reached, or were filthy. The advertised children's playground doesn't exist, so I absolutely wouldn't recommend this farm to families with children. When we asked about things, we only got excuses. There are no fly screens anywhere either, which is a real problem so close to the cowshed.
A lovely five-day stay, with a beautiful view and a great location for a typical farm holiday. Our child was allowed to help in the stables each evening, which was a real highlight. Thank you so much 🐮
Kriegerhof Arrach is peaceful, rustic, and close to nature. There are cows, calves, chickens, a goat, the usual farm dog, and 12 cats wandering about. If you love cats, some of them even like a cuddle. The farmer's wife has plenty of work to do but is always friendly and happy to chat.
It's a shame, we would have loved to spend our vacation there. I contacted them twice but never heard back, so I can't leave a positive review.
