We found it fine for a simple three-day stop before continuing further into Germany. Breakfast was sufficient, and the food was fine. The garden was a mess, though it could have been lovely, and the outdoor pool is set so far back that you have to cross the backyard to get to it. The staff were friendly, especially Herr Kruse, if I remember the name right. He was very attentive. The village itself is lovely, with well-kept timber-framed houses.

The breakfast buffet was the standout for us, beautifully laid out and so delicious, well beyond expectations. Dinner was fine. There are also generous spa and sauna areas, with a nice pool, pink salt sauna, and clothes-free sauna, plus plenty of loungers. The complimentary fruit and tea corner was a thoughtful touch. Our room was large and away from the main road, with good bedding and a spacious bathroom. The staff across reception, the restaurant, and housekeeping were another highlight. They showed real care for the hotel and its guests and made sure everyone was satisfied. The Landshotel sits in the picturesque Sauerland, and there's plenty of free parking opposite.

I only stopped by the coffee shop and restaurant, but the hotel made a great impression with how it looks. The coffee, cake, service, and hospitality were all great. Seems like a nice place to stay, maybe next time.

Everything was excellent, from the restaurant and rooms to the service and cleanliness. The service was almost excellent overall, but the Wi-Fi signal was really bad.
