Breakfast was a highlight, fresh and really tasty, especially for such a small extra cost. The rooms were very clean and roomy, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. There's good parking, and the location is excellent. A perfect stay for families or couples. I'd book here again in a heartbeat.

In 2024, after a nine-hour drive, we ended up in a roof-level room and got almost no rest. It was extremely hot, with no air conditioning, which would've been manageable if we could safely open the windows. We did open them, but there were no mosquito screens and so many mosquitoes came in that nobody could sleep. The hotel should think more about its guests. The rooms were also less clean than they had been the year before. In 2023, we enjoyed the delicious breakfast with local products and the spacious rooms shown in the photos.

The location is beautiful, right in the heart of Bavaria. The team were the friendliest and most welcoming I've ever met, and my room was clean and ready for me. It felt just like home.

At Christmas, the decorations made the place feel like a fairy tale. The room was really an apartment, huge and equipped with everything, and it was spotless. The people were very, very friendly. Though it's rated three stars, it felt at least like a five-star stay. I'd absolutely recommend it.

Having a car makes this hotel a particularly good choice. It's among the best places I've stayed in Germany, with excellent service and an extremely friendly staff.
