We were a group of nine staying in Steinhauser’s Ferienwohnungen (Augsburg) this past week, in Apartments Max and Lucca. They suited us perfectly, with comfortable beds, kitchens, sitting areas, and a great tub to soak in at Lucca. Everything was clean and tidy, with the linens and kitchen supplies we’d been promised. We arrived quite early, and the team helped us get into one of our two bookings ahead of time so we could freshen up and leave our luggage. It’s central enough for short walks, but in a quiet residential area. The tram and bus lines and a grocery store are about a five-minute walk away. The team was responsive and helpful, and it was easy to get around whether you speak German or English. We’d happily stay again!

The apartment had everything I needed and was spotless. I stayed for five days and found the place both comfortable and peaceful, despite being close to everything. Private parking was a great bonus. Highly recommended for a convenient, comfortable stay!

Easy self check-in and check-out made things simple. We had a very clean, safe two-bedroom apartment that was comfortable and equipped for a full week. The city center was close, with lots of supermarkets, restaurants, public transport and playgrounds nearby.

We had a very comfortable stay in Apartment Paula in late September 2025. The listing gives a service provider for washing larger items such as lounge shirts and T-shirts, but people staying longer, say up to a week, may want to wash their own underclothes. It’d be useful to include addresses and contact details for nearby self-service laundromats, or waschsalons, in the Rental Information. We found one within walking distance, as close as the listed supermarkets, after 3-4 days. By then, we’d already washed some of our own underclothes. Another option would be to have a washing machine in the building for apartment renters.

One of my best stays in Europe! The apartment was really clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed, even coffee. It’s also in a great spot for walking around and enjoying Augsburg.
