Villa Moorstern

The lakeside setting is beautiful, and our apartment was spacious, lovely, well furnished, and had comfortable beds. Friends staying in the same building had a very different experience because the apartments vary quite a bit. Also, the neighbors are quick to complain about noise.

Villa Moorstern was a great base for a weekend away with two families. The location by the lake is fantastic, and the apartments were comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. We all felt at home and would wholeheartedly recommend staying there.

We had such a good time that our planned week turned into three, with the whole family. The apartment was clean, in excellent condition, and well maintained. Being right on the lake meant a breathtaking view and peaceful days close to the water. Shops were nearby, too, so it was easy to get what we needed. The owners gave us a warm welcome, were very friendly and helpful, and were always there when we had questions. We all agree we'll definitely return. We mentioned the problem and sent photos, but unfortunately got no real response. The apartment's decking also needs replacing or cleaning: it's green and slippery, and some boards are broken underfoot. We'd stayed two years ago and been very satisfied, so we booked apartment number 16 again this year. At first everything looked just as good as we remembered. Then the bed creaked badly whenever we turned over, starting after the first night. A couple of silverfish wouldn't bother me much, but we kept finding them in different sizes all over the apartment, in the bedroom, behind the sofa bed, and in the bathroom. We were no longer happy with that.
