Hotel Schwartzer Löwe

The room cleaning seemed to happen about once every two days, and the breakfast was poor, with too little bread and too few eggs for everyone. When we asked, the hotel boy would run to the nearest shop for a few bread rolls. It was kind of funny to watch :). They had tea bags but no hot water, and when we asked for water, they brought warm water instead. At night it was cold because the heating didn't work in every room. I didn't want to stay here in the first place, since I prefer other hotels in Babenhausen, but everything else was booked. I'm sorry to write this, as I try to stay optimistic and positive, but this hotel disappointed me so much I had to let others know. I strongly do NOT recommend visiting. The standard is far below that of a 3-star hotel.

The hotel canceled my reservation through a well-known online booking platform, saying they were overbooked and had already found me another hotel. They offered City Hotel █████ in ████████████, Offenbach am Main, for €50 without breakfast. I can't judge the rooms, since I never stayed there, but that brief exchange gave me a clear impression of the management and customer service. I called to explain that being moved to another city 30 km away was a problem for me. The management didn't apologize or listen, and wouldn't pass me on to the owner. Instead, they called me, the customer, disrespectful and threatened to hang up. Once I realized they weren't willing to hear an understandably upset customer out, I ended the call and contacted the service-oriented booking platform directly.

I ordered Chicken After and waited about 25 minutes, then got only a few small pieces of chicken with mangoes. The taste was very bad, and I didn't eat it. The quality is very low for such an expensive price. I'll never go back to this restaurant.

This is my favorite place to eat. The food is so good, and I'd definitely recommend it!
