Gästehaus Rheinromantik

A lovely place to relax over Christmas, in a beautiful location. Frau Jutta is so kind and thinks of everything.

We had the ground-floor apartment, and it was just right for two. Very clean and set up well for breakfast or making a light meal. The landlady was friendly and helpful. The location is super central, just a few hundred meters from the train station. A bakery, supermarket, restaurants, and hiking trail access are practically on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

The landlady is very friendly, and the house is right in the center of Bacharach. We found the four-bed apartment cozy, with comfortable bedrooms, each with its own TV. There’s plenty of wardrobe and bathroom space too. The kitchen has lots of storage, the dining table is a good size, and I really liked the color of the wall :) There are plenty of outlets throughout, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly.

We’ve stayed several times at the Rheinromantik Guesthouse with our dog, two adults and a dog, and this visit we were again in the “Wernerkapelle” holiday apartment. It’s centrally placed but still quiet. We can walk to the Rhine, shops, cozy wine bars, recommended restaurants, and the hiking trail starts. The hostess is easygoing and helpful, shares tips about current events, and has great excursion ideas. Our dog was warmly welcomed too. Holidays with dogs in Bacharach are generally easy and relaxing. The apartment is spotless and has what you need for an everyday holiday, without unnecessary dust traps. The kitchen is ready for cooking, and we really like the modern, upscale bathroom amenities. Both bedrooms have very comfortable beds and their own TV. We like hanging out in the living and dining area, looking toward the “Rhine-Romantic” ruins of the Wernerkapelle and the half-timbered backdrop. The smaller bedroom looks out onto a little of the surrounding vineyards. There’s no balcony, but you can sit on the bench in front of the house. In good weather, the table and chairs from the laundry room can also be brought outside.
