Dinner was excellent value and tasted great, and the attentive staff made us feel at home. They even brought three labeled wine samples on paper coasters so we could taste before choosing. The breakfast spread was generous, with eggs fried fresh and served to us. We got a very good deal that included breakfast and a three-course dinner. The room was clean and practical, and the bath and shower had recently been renovated. The main drawback is the busy road about 200 yards away. You can hear traffic if you sleep with the windows open in summer, and there’s no air conditioning.

The beds felt a bit too hard for me. The newer adjustments are apparently very nice, and I believe they cost only €25 more per night. The hotel is fairly close to the motorway, and without air conditioning, a room at the front on that side will get some traffic noise.

Kind service and a very good price for what you get. The interior could use an update, but all in all it's a good place to stay with great service.
