The host was very accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a quiet spot with an ATM in the village and a Netto supermarket about a 10-minute walk away. There's a beautiful windmill at the top of the village, with a pub beside it where you can sit outside and relax. Bad Bentheim is about a 10-minute drive away, since the apartment is in a suburb. It's dog friendly, with a lovely large secure garden and a balcony. The beds were comfortable for us humans, and the kitchen had an oven, dishwasher, cooker, filter coffee machine, and kettle. A couple of downsides: payment is cash on arrival, and an online bank transfer would be a good option. We also had to drive into Bad Bentheim.

Great place, but there's no Wi-Fi.
