Bauernhofpension Hof Dödesberg

Really great!

Great!

The people were friendly, which is the one thing that made this disappointing stay easier. Still, we won’t return. The farm and grounds are lovely, and the children could have played outside all day in good weather, but it rained for all three days, so we had to find other ways to keep our two young kids busy. The bathroom was very clean, but the rest of the accommodation felt quite greasy and wasn’t clean. We took our shoes off at the door, yet by the first day our bare feet were completely black. A toy rolled under the couch, and retrieving it brought out a shower of dog hair. The couch itself was worn and looked greasy too. On day two, our child spilled hot chocolate at breakfast, and the same tablecloth with the same stain was still there three days later. One morning, the rolls also seemed to be leftovers from the day before, not fresh.

The courtyard was great for both relaxing and playing, and the surrounding area is lovely. The apartment was beautiful, roomy, and well equipped, and everyone there was very friendly. Breakfast deserves six stars!
