We first stayed here just for one night while passing through Germany and hadn't expected much. We liked it so much that it's now our regular stop whenever we drive by. The hotel is handy for the highway, but tucked into a small, quaint village that already feels like a holiday. The rooms are simple, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast starts early and has plenty to choose from, which works well when you're travelling. We tried both the main hotel restaurant and the Italian place next door for dinner, and would happily recommend either. There's also a big park and forest right behind the hotel, lovely for a walk after a day on the road.

A magnificent spot in a quiet small town, with great hiking nearby. The hotel itself is really good, with friendly, very helpful staff, a very good breakfast, and a good restaurant. Parking was a little tight.

The breakfast was much better than most I've had, and both the location and rooms were nice. Everyone on staff was kind, and the value for money was excellent.
