The hotel and wellness area are very nice, but the restaurant was a big disappointment. The service felt chaotic and unwelcoming, with menus, cutlery, and even parts of our order forgotten. The food was poor: dishes were oversalted, and some food was cold inside. I don’t recommend eating here.

Very disappointing. I phoned first to check availability, then booked a double room for my wife and me through their own website. When we arrived, we were rudely told there was no double room, and offered two single rooms instead. When I asked why the website had let me book a double, he couldn’t answer. His immediate response was that we should find another hotel, at 1930 hrs. What a polite, friendly guy. NOT.

It’s an old-style luxury hotel, with marble and decorations everywhere you look. The staff are polite and quick, everything is clean, and breakfast is perfect. Dinner in the restaurant felt a bit overpriced to me. There’s private parking, a nice pool open from early morning until late at night, and a good sauna open from 13:00 until late. Recommended!

There are lots of older people here, and they’re very friendly. If you have a kid trying to enjoy the pool, you may feel the complaints. You’re also expected to sit at the restaurant the owner “orders” you to use, or else faces change. In that respect, I felt like I was at a bootcamp here…

We visited for my birthday, and the staff took it upon themselves to set up a private table in the restaurant for us to enjoy a delicious meal. The hotel was very nice, the staff were friendly, and we had a relaxing stay. We’ll visit again.
