The treatments were a real pleasure, and the therapists and cleaning staff deserve a lot of credit. The kitchen too, everything was varied and delicious! My only gripes were that the treatments felt a bit too tightly scheduled and a few receptionists could have been friendlier. Still, highly recommended.

Getting permission to leave for even a short walk or a weekend trip takes a few days' notice, even when you have no treatments booked. The shutters and patio doors are locked, there aren't places to sit, and patients are talked down to and treated like inmates. It feels like prison, even for people who are fully well and able to manage on their own. I wouldn't recommend it. If you can, choose another rehabilitation center.

The difference between the care from the doctors and therapists and what we got from the nursing staff on floor 4 (orthopedics) was hard to miss. The doctors and therapists at the Bad Bocklet Rehabilitation Center were friendly, skilled, and committed, and made me feel taken seriously and well looked after. Many of the nurses, though, came across as listless, unfriendly, and unwilling to help. Medication was handed out only at fixed times. The schedule was posted outside the room, but nobody reminded patients, and the nurses wouldn't be flexible even when some seemed idle or were on their phones. Once I was already at the nursing station for a blood test and still couldn't get my medicine because it wasn't the official dispensing time, so I had to return later. When a doctor prescribed something new and urgent for my cold, I was also told to wait several hours before collecting it. That made no sense to me and didn't feel patient-centered. More dedicated nursing staff would have made the stay much more pleasant.

I had a really nice stay when I was there about a month ago. Some of the negative reviews are hard for me to understand, though...
