The room was clean, though both it and the bathroom had very old furnishings. There wasn’t a power outlet by the bed for charging a phone, so I hope the rooms get refreshed soon. The friendly staff gave us a warm welcome. The restaurant itself is nice, with good service and Spanish and German dishes.

The bed was small but comfortable, and the rooms were fine overall. It’s an old hotel, which I liked since classic styles are my thing. The place was clean and the food was good. A few things could be improved.

We went to Valencia last Sunday for a light lunch. It’s in the same building as the Braunschweiger Hof, and the owner and staff made us feel welcome. The food was delicious as always and nicely presented, with reasonable prices. For a first dinner to get acquainted, I might pick somewhere else, but if you want tasty food for the whole family, this is a good place. We’ll gladly return.
