Breakfast was fresh with something for everyone, and the owner was friendly. The sheets and towels were clean, and there was warm water. The room was a bit unclean, though, which cost it a star. They advertise the place as pet friendly but have no designated pet rooms, so bringing a pet means paying a €50 deposit in case it sleeps on the bed. The reason given is that pet hair could cause allergies for the next guest. Overall, it was okay.

Not sure I'd come back. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the place is in the town center, close to nearby spots. I'd read reviews mentioning insect bites in the bed, but after one night I didn't see anything suspicious. It was a little hard to communicate with the owner, an older Asian person who speaks only German. To me, this is more hostel standard, and a bit expensive for what you get. For the same money you can rent a fresh apartment with a kitchen, not far from Hostel Happy.

There were seven of us visiting from London, and we stayed for a day and a night. Mr Happy took great care of us. He's a nice, friendly person.

We had a good, clean room and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly, and arranging a late booking and check-in was no problem. We'll stay here again when we're in need of a place.

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. Can't fault it.
