The setting is what stands out most: absolutely scenic and peaceful. It's a beautiful, historically rich hotel, owned and run by a very positive, happy couple. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the service is excellent. If you want to tune out the world and do a bit of soul searching, check in here. Be sure to ask them about the hotel's story. I loved your breakfast, Jürgen. Thank you, I'll definitely be back soon!

We stopped here on our way from Northern Germany to Italy. It's not far inland from the highway, in the quiet little hilly thermal town of Bad Brücken. Parking for guests was easy, right out front, and the views were great.

A cycle path runs right behind the house, and it's an excellent base for motorcycle tours in the Spessart and Rhön regions. In the evenings, it's a 2km walk to the state spa, promenade, and restaurant, then 2km back. Bad Brückenau is about 4-5km each way. The accommodation is top-notch, with an attentive, courteous owner, large cool rooms, insect screens on the windows, and even a HEPA air purifier for pollen. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.

The rooms are spacious and good, and breakfast is all right, though nothing special. The place itself is okay in principle, but its location takes some getting used to. If you're expecting the feel of a state-run spa, you'll be disappointed.
