The host gave me some great tips, and I managed to unwind at the beach after work. I stayed just one night at the guesthouse on Lindenallee in Bad Doberan, but felt comfortable right away. My small room was exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated, with a little terrace that was perfect for relaxing. I'm very satisfied and would happily return, next time with my wife and without work.

The terrace looked out over a lovely, carefully landscaped garden. Our clean room had a kitchenette and was furnished in a practical way, and the location was ideal for excursions.

Keep in mind that this is a guesthouse, not a hotel, and has nothing to do with a hotel. The little rooms have a charming, personal style, with everything thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the space. You may hear other guests now and then, and breakfast isn't always available, so check with the owner in advance.

We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week here at the beginning of July 2025. The place is tucked into nature and can't be seen from the road, so it's very quiet. Our room was clean, breakfast was plentiful and good, and Mr. Kamke was very attentive.
