I felt right at home in the apartment. Everything was perfect, with so much care put into the details, and I'd recommend it. On the owners' recommendation, I ate at the Golden Anchor and the Waldhütte (Forest Hut), and enjoyed the food. The bakery and gourmet shop in Bad Elster are both worth recommending too. Franzensbad was beautiful. E5 gasoline was cheaper there, around €1.30. Cigarettes cost less too: about €72 for 200 Marlboro Gold, or around €68 for 200 LM Red. For parking, the owners recommended the lot at Hotel Bohemia. It was 80 CZK, or about €3.20, for 1.5 hours.

The hosts are really friendly, and you feel at home right away. It's a tastefully furnished vacation apartment, and even the fridge is stocked. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely come back next year with our dog.

We felt completely at home in this lovingly prepared vacation apartment. There was nothing missing, and we were even surprised to find the fridge filled with all kinds of delicious things by the lovely hosts, Familie Martin. Thank you so much for being so welcoming. Highly recommended!
