Haus Renate

Excellent.

The rooms are modern and have balconies, and the breakfast is superb with plenty to choose from. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. The only small drawbacks were that the fridge and room could both be a little bigger. Everything else was perfect, and we'd gladly return.

We spent four weeks at Haus Renate and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Mrs. Fritz takes such good care of the guests, and Mr. Fritz is clearly a therapist through and through. The two other staff members fit in perfectly with Mrs. Fritz's team. Treatments are available right in the house, which is a real plus, and the room rates are very reasonable. The house is peaceful but centrally located. You can walk to the town center, thermal baths, and several restaurants. Even when fully booked, there's plenty of parking. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. Breakfast was more than generous, and on Sundays they serve homemade cake. You can even take away anything left over from breakfast. Plenty of four-star hotels could learn from that. We felt comfortable here, and everything was just right. We'd love to come back.

The room was great and had good amenities. Parking spaces were very limited, though. Breakfast is the one thing that cost a point for me. There was no buffet, so I couldn't choose what I wanted and instead got whatever the owner put on my plate. I didn't get enough butter for my taste, and not everyone likes mushroom sausage. There were also a few other items I didn't need.
